LOCAL PROJECTS

Learn More

Rock Creek Church believes that to fulfill the entirety of God’s plan for the local church we must not just be involved in evangelism & the making of disciples in our own community & country. We must take The Gospel and its life-giving power to the ends of the earth. To do this, we not only pray for those to be called out of our own church community, but we give a weekly faith-based offering (Project 1:8) to help send those who have been called to go.

Currently, Rock Creek supports 17 global missionaries & mission projects. We are financially and prayerfully involved in mission work in the Philippines, England, Africa, East Asia, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Eastern Europe, the Netherlands, Australia, Italy, and Estonia.

Please pray for our missionaries:

UPCOMING TRIPS

Rock Creek Church is headed back to the Dominican Republic. We will be working in partnership with the Iglesia Bautista Celebración (IBC).

February 8 -15, 2025

Rock Creek Church is headed back to the Dominican Republic. This youth trip will be focused on serving in the sugar cane villages of the Dominican Republic. The youth will share bible stories, install water filters, and have opportunities to share the gospel.

March 15-21st, 2025

Trip dates are coming in early 2025.
Rock Creek Church will be heading back to the Dominican Republic. We will again work with the Jonathan Autrey and Celebration Christian Church (CCC, formerly known as IBC).  This trip will involve some construction. Skilled labor would be great but not required. There will be plenty of things to do that don’t require construction experience (cleanup, painting, drywall, etc.). We will have more details in early 2025.

October 2025

IBC is so much more than just church planting, it’s a church planting movement, it’s training nationals so they can go out and reach their own people, realizing that they already know the language, culture, and hardships that their countrymen go through. It’s equipping them with the leadership skills to be leaders of leaders and encourage growth by multiplication, also equipping them with the resources needed to help them be as successful as possible in their beginning steps.

Join us as we partner with Pastor Jonathan and his team through praying over their ministry, financial giving, and go with us on a Mission trip.

The vision that God laid on the hearts of the Tapestries of Life team is to build an orphanage in Guadalupe Mexico, which will be the largest orphanage in all of Latin America. Although there is a lot of work that needs to be completed, God has blessed this project. The Biblical mandate to take care of widows and orphans is in the process of being fulfilled in the orphanage that is being built in Guadalupe, Mexico. This orphanage will house over 200 children, and the government promised to fill it within 24 hours of when its doors open with a small percentage of the over 7000 children that are living on the street in this area alone. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done & we need your help.

In Estonia, less than 2% of the population claim to be evangelical believers. A 2011 BBC report called Estonia the world’s least religious country. A staggering 86% of Estonians profess atheism.

Rock Creek Church is committed to partnering with missionaries and churches in Estonia to support the vision of asking God for a gospel movement among every least-reached people group in our generation.

Goals:

  • Church planting
  • Pastoral and leadership care and development
  • Raising up a generation of spiritual champions (youth ministry)

We also partner with Crick & Mindy Porier, who oversee the South Estonia Outreach Project, which connects Christian young adult leaders to outreach opportunities in the cities,  villages, and rural areas of southern Estonia that are unreached or among the least-reached. They help provide the necessary training and resources to bring regular ministry outreach and evangelism programs to these communities.

Partner with us in support through prayer and financial giving, and go with us to Estonia!

CHURCH PLANTING

Rock Creek Church believes that no church exists only for itself. From the very beginning it has never been just about us. We believe and will always live out the principle of church multiplication.

When Rock Creek Church was launched, we set out to start a movement of church planting in the great state of Texas. Out of that passion and heart came Vision Texas.

Vision Texas is a movement that champions church planting. We are churches that plant reproducing churches and focus on helping each other and other churches with church multiplication.

Vision Texas has church plants in Prosper, Celina, McKinney, Princeton, Schertz, Denton, Odessa, Cypress, Spring, Argyle, and Pearland.

If you’re passionate about planting a church in Texas and want to join in where God is already working, we’d love to talk with you.
